With the introduction of this website, we are adding a new twist to our neighborhood communications. In the place of pushing a large email newsletter once a month, we will put neighborhood news and related items on the website. As items are added to the website, you will receive an email that lists the recent updates. Each new item will have a brief excerpt on the item and a link to that spot on the website.

There are a couple of advantages to this. First, we can get news out faster. With the newsletter, we tried to wait until we had a bundle of several items to send out at once. With the website, we can add individual items any day we choose. Second, the website provides a permanent place to store news items so you can go back and look at them later if you need to a refresh. The storehouse of past items also means we can update messages if there are changes or added information.

To get a better idea of what you can find on the website, check out this post that describes some of the different sections, and this one that goes into more detail on the online calendar.
