Windsong requested the Public Works inspector to determine action needed to correct the water on our road.
This is what the inspector has determined.
The area of concern was evaluated and determined that the concern of water seepage up through the asphalt on Grace Cir. is due to an unusual wet weather high water table, that there are numerous areas in the roads throughout this basin exhibiting the same conditions.
At this point Cherokee County has determined that this is typical, and not something that is cause for repair. They have also stated that when the area dries out and the water table has a chance to normalize, the situation should go away.
That being said, we will continue to monitor in the event it gets worse
