Several holidays are close at hand. Rosh Hashanah celebrates the Jewish New Year. This year it began at sundown on September 25th and ended at sundown on September 27th.
Now on October 4th at sunset until sunset on the 5th, it will be Yom Kippur. This translates from Hebrew to English as Day of Atonement.
For our residents of the Jewish faith, we wish you a Happy New Year and a blessed fast.
