Because of the hard freeze we had (7-degree weather) and then early temperatures in the 60s/70s, in February many of the bushes started to grow early and then we had another freeze and some of the bushes were burned. Our landscape company inspected several plants — the plants are alive but may not have new growth until sometime in May. Good Old Mother Nature.
The sprinkler system will be turned on in the next few weeks. Grace has received a large amount of rain in the last couple of months, so delaying the system turn on is saving Grace money. The new grass in front of the club house looks great. Please do not walk on the new grass and pine straw to get your mail.
We all want to be respectful of our neighbors. If your dog leaves waste in the pine straw between the houses, please dispose of it correctly. It is not fun to step on.
Big thank you, to those of you that are kind enough to roll your neighbors trash/recycle cans up their driveway on Thursdays.
Lastly, the weeds and brush behind the fence on the upper part of Grace will be trimmed in the next few weeks.
