Updates from the Board:
Parking Lot:
In our April HOA meeting with the community, we told you of our intent to obtain bids for the repair and sealing of the upper (West) parking lot. We also advised that we anticipated postponing this project until 2025.
We did obtain proposals and recommendations for this repair. Those discussions confirmed our original opinion that this project could be postponed. We will discuss the inclusion of this project with the Finance Committee as we prepare the 2025 budget.
Trees on the South side:
In May we obtained several proposals for what should be done to the row of Leyland Cypress and Magnolia trees bordering the fence. Each proposal has a slightly different solution.
While digesting this information, a host of issues surfaced with our turf and with our irrigation system. These proposals were tabled for a time while we addressed the other crucial issues at hand. Solving the turf and irrigation issues is nearing completion.
We have returned to examining the tree proposals. We have identified some additional clarification within these, and are obtaining the answers to our remaining questions. We remind you that this project was not budgeted for 2024 as it was not on the radar at budget time last year.
With those outstanding answers in hand, we can project the impact of this project to the 2025 budget.
