Ever Feel You Are Living In a Strange New Land?

The THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY is embarking on a journey through the book of Daniel. The focus will be on Daniel dealing with and thriving in his new environment as he is taken into captivity in Babylon. We will look at how we can deal with and thrive today in a world we no longer understand. And, of course, we’ll cover the stories of the furnace and the lion’s den.

This book covers the end of the recorded history of God’s people in the Old Testament. We will follow this study of Daniel with a look at the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments, called the Intertestamental Period. Have you ever wondered how we go from prophets, kings and The Temple in the Old Testament to Sadducees, Pharisees and synagogues in the New? This study will aid us in our understanding of the New Testament as we get a better grasp on the evolution of the lifestyle, spirituality and politics of that time.

These studies are designed for all of you that say you don’t know the Bible enough to come to a bible study.

Join us this or any Thursday in the Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.

You do not need to be a biblical scholar. It’s better if you’re not because you’d be the only one. We are just a small group of neighbors interested in learning more about the foundations of our faith. We represent multiple denominations and non-denominational members.

There is no commitment to attend every week. We welcome all to show up when they can and as they are.

If you’re still uncertain, talk to Karin Storla to get your questions answered.
