A group of Grace residents have filed a class action lawsuit against the record label responsible for selling The Charlie Daniels Band album Million Mile Reflections in 1979, hereafter referred to as “back in the day.”

Having purchased this album back in the day, the plaintiffs claim they “wore out the needles on their hifi” through repeated plays of the song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” Having invested hours of listening time and not an inconsiderable amount of cheap beer, the plaintiffs were given certain expectations for the future which have not been met.

Specifically, citing the weekend of June 30 through July 2, 2023, the plaintiffs claim even the devil refused to come down to Georgia because it was “too [expletive deleted] hot.”
