After the note from Ben last week letting us know about the possibility of termite swarms, I received the following from Aida and Pedro Perez:
FYI to our neighbors, we had Pestban come in today due to having termites come inside the house a week ago Tuesday.
Apparently the builder’s crew left some wood around the concrete base on the side of the house. And of course it rotted and termites were growing in numbers there. He had to treat all the right side of the house.
Our homes are covered under the Pestban termite service and they monitor the bait systems on a schedule. It is still a good practice for each resident to inspect the perimeter of our homes from time to time.
