As some of you may be aware, we have had and are currently having some issues related to the health and appearance of our Bermuda grass lawns, primarily “bald spots” and discoloration.

In an effort to address this issue we have been in contact with Josh Fuder,  the Cherokee County Agent for the UGA College of Agricultural and Natural Resources. (Our thanks to Chuck Goldstein for initiating the contact).   Josh has graciously committed to paying us a visit to help determine the cause of the problems and suggest effective solutions.  We are in the process of scheduling this meeting and hope to make it happen within the next couple of weeks.

If you have lawn or turf issues and have already reported them to the Landscape Committee, no further action on your part is necessary.  If however, you have issues and have not made the Landscape Committee aware of them, please do so immediately so that we may add your name to the list.  You may do so by either dropping off a note outlining the problem to the suggestion box in the Grace Clubhouse or by emailing it to [email protected] at the earliest time.

Hopefully we will be able to address these problem expeditiously and get our beautiful lawns back up to snuff.  Thanks for your cooperation on this matter.
