A suggestion was made recently that it would be a good idea to have a list of those who would volunteer to help their neighbors when they need a ride to a doctor, physical therapy, etc., or run an errand for them if they cannot drive due to illness or surgery.
This might be just picking up cough syrup for someone home with a cold or take to doctor for an office procedure that requires anesthesia or physical therapy for an injury that prevents driving. There are times that a family member is unable to handle this. This voluntary service would only be for non-emergency situations. Emergency situations require contacting 911.
The Goodwill Committee will compile a list of those who can be available at times to assist those in need. Both members of the Goodwill Committee & the Secretary of the HOA will keep this list.
